A titer is a simple blood test that measures the antibodies in your pet's blood to determine immunity and protection against diseases such as parvo and distemper.

Vaccinations have their benefits and risks. It is important to provide protection and not over vaccinate. If your pet's parvo shot can provide immunity against parvo for several years, then why vaccinate again? I have seen the damage over-vaccinating can cause an animal; from gut problems to allergies.
